Commonwealth Games team briefing.
The
Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee(TTOC) will hold its
final Commonwealth Games team briefing on Tuesday 21 February
at the office of Team T&T 2006 Commonwealth Games sponsor
BHP Billition Trinidad and Tobago.
The briefing will be held at BHP Billition, Angostura Conference
Room,Invaders Bay Tower,Audrey Jeffers Highway at 5pm .
All locally based athletes,coaches,team officials and medical
staff selected to the 2006 Commonwealth Games team are required
to attend the meeting.
Logistical,disciplinary and anti-doping are among the important
items on the agenda.

President Larry Romany and BHP Billition Trinidad and Tobago
President Vincent Pereira will also address the T&T Commonwealth
games delegation.
National Talent Identification Programme
The Trinidad & Tobago Olympic Committee will launch the first phase of its National Talent Identification Programme for its affiliates. The highly accredited Ms. Melanie Tantrum of the Melbourne Sports Development Volunteer’s Programme, will assist during the next five (5) months in the design of a National Talent I.D programme and will also provide recommendations for sport-specific talent identification programmes.
The Committee extends an invitation to coaches to participate in a Three-Day General Awareness Workshop at the Lystra Lewis Conference Centre at the Hasley Crawford Stadium on the following days:
- Thursday 2 nd March 2006 -1pm -4pm.
- Friday 3 rd March 2006 – 9am-4pm.
- Saturday 4 th March 2006- 9am-4pm
Lead Facilitator: Ms. Melanie Tantrum
A maximum of four (4) coaches per affiliate organisation may attend the workshop.
