Reigning champions Glamorgan and West Side Stars will contest the Women’s Super League final in the 2017 Flow T&T Volleyball Federation Indoor League season at the Jean Pierre Complex, Mucurapo from 7pm tonight.

 

This after both teams won their semifinal match-ups at the same venue in straight sets yesterday.

In the first semifinal West Side Stars, the regular season round-robin winners with a 5-0 record powered past Southern United Volleyball Academy 25-15, 25-8, 25-19 while defending champions Glamorgan rallied past bitter rival and former multiple champions University of T&T (UTT) 25-20, 25-21, 25-23 in a rematch of the opening game of the season which Glamorgan won in four sets.

Tonight, Stars will go into the decided brimming with confidence after it defeated Glamorgan 25-19, 25-20, 25-19 in their round-robin league decider prior to the playoffs.

Last night in the Men Super League semifinals, Titans came up against defending champions Glamorgansl while Defence Force met Zenith.

Last weekend, Titans, featuring a core of national Under-21 players led by Enrique Henry, Daynte Stewart, Nathaniel Noreiga, Mali Davidson and Tyrique Bcekles, Titans, prevailed over Technocrats 15-25, 25-23, 26-28, 25-16, 15-13 in a grueling five-set quarterfinal while Zenith steamrolled Southern United Volleyball Academy 25-13, 25-17, 25-12.

Also today, in the Men’s B Division Glamorgan and fellow unbeaten club, Central Warriors will meet in their divisional decider from 2pm.
