Contract bridge or simply bridge is one of the most popular playing card games around the world today. The game developed from an earlier English card game known as whist somewhere in the early 1800’s.

There are two main parts to this game, namely the bidding and the play. Bidding is also called the auction, where each team competes to name the contract. This refers to the number of tricks in excess of six the team proposes to win. After the bidding, the actual play begins in which the team that wins the bid attempts to fulfill its contract while the opposing team tries to prevent the team from doing so. Points are scored when the team succeeds in fulfilling its contract, while failure in doing so results in penalties.

The World Bridge Federation (WBF) organizes international bridge tournaments regularly. The Trinidad and Tobago Contract Bridge Association (TTCBA) organizes official tournaments locally. Contract bridge is not part of the Olympic Games, but the TTCBA is an affiliate member of the TTOC.

Through out modern history, pigeons have been utilized by humans for the use of communicating and reconnaissance because of their remarkable ability to cover large distances in reasonable time at a safe altitude. During World War I many allies sent messages and even attached cameras to the pigeons for aerial reconnaissance. The homing ability the pigeons possess has astonished humans for decades. Inevitably pigeons have also been used for entertainment and sport in the form of pigeon racing. Owners release specially trained pigeons and the distance covered and the time taken is measured and compared to competitors. Races are typically between 100km and 1000km. The National Pigeon Racing Commission of Trinidad and Tobago is the affiliate of international pigeon racing in Trinidad and Tobago. Pigeon racing is not an Olympic Sport, but is an affiliate of the TTOC.

Cue Sports, more commonly know as billiards sports is the collective name of games involving the use of billiard balls, billiard table and cue sticks.

It is believed the game evolved from similar outdoor lawn games such as trucco and croquet. King Louis XI of France (1461–1483) had the first known indoor billiard table. Louis XIV further refined and popularized the game, and it swiftly spread amongst the French nobility.

The most popular present day international competitions include nine-ball, eight-ball, snooker, speed-pool and three-cushion. Although there are no cue sports in the Olympic or Commonwealth Games, the sport has been featured in a few organized multisport competitions including the 2005 World Games held in Duisburg, Germany, and the Asian Games in 2006.
