T&T Athlete Profiles

St Louis after 5 years in the US got his opportunity whilst representing T&T in Martnique. Since age 24, he has played professionally in France flying the flag of Trinidad and Tobago. During that time he has had victories over top ranked players in the world of Table Tennis, including Carl Prean, Hong Kong's Lo Cheung Tsung and D.R Jin Lue.

At the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, he stunned England's top players Andrew Baggaley and Terry Young, but it was not enough for an historic win against England with the team of Reeza Burke, Courtney and Dexter losing 2-3.

Dexter St Louis has won medals at CAC level for Trinidad and Tobago, and has a highest world ranking in the 200's. However, the only ranking tournaments in which he participates is when representing Trinidad and Tobago. To be ranked so highly from one or two tournaments is a tremendous achievement. Dexter St Louis has a lot to offer in the service of table tennis in this country.
