Renny Quow is a former world junior champion, the Tobago quartermiler winning the global under-20 400 metres title back in 2006 in Beijing, China. He returned to Beijing two years later and reached the Olympic one-lap final, finishing seventh in the championship race.
But Quow’s biggest global success to date came at the 2009 World Championships, in Berlin, Germany, where he captured bronze in 45.02 seconds. In the semifinal round, he clocked a personal best 44.53.
He also struck gold at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Championships, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
