Ade Alleyne-Forte clocked a personal best 46.13 seconds to finish sixth in the 2012 National Championship men’s 400 metres final, in Port of Spain. The placing earned him a spot on the Trinidad and Tobago men’s 4 x 400 metres relay squad for the Olympic Games, in London, England.
In 2007, Alleyne-Forte bagged boys’ under-20 400 metres bronze at the Carifta Games in Turks and Caicos Islands. He repeated the feat at the Pan American Junior Championships, in Brazil, clocking 46.27 seconds – a PR (personal record) at the time.
In the Pan Am Juniors mile relay, Alleyne-Forte anchored T&T to gold. He teamed up with Zwede Hewitt, Jovon Toppin and Kervin Morgan for a fast three minutes, 05.70 seconds clocking – a new national junior record.
