The Paralympic Association of Trinidad and Tobago has recently become one of our affliliates. A training program has been implemented for coaches for coaches in order to assist athletes with disabilities. The paralympic movement grown in recent years, with paralympic games being held after major sporting events including: Olympics (started in1996), Commonwealth Games (upcoming in australia in 2006) and Pan Am Games (upcoming Rio de Janeiro 2007).
