Olympic Games executive director Christophe Dubi has said Lausanne 2020 provided an opportunity to educate and empower young people, as the one-year anniversary of the Winter Youth Olympic Games was marked.

THE COMMONWEALTH Games Federation (CGF) executive board, in partnership with the TT Olympic Committee (TTOC) and Ministry of Sport, have decided to explore rescheduling options for the 2021 Commonwealth Youth Games.

Talks have begun to plot a way forward for the Commonwealth Youth Games which is scheduled to be held in T&T, next year.

The hosting of the Commonwealth Youth Games (CYG) 2021, originally scheduled for August 1-7 next year, could be postponed. But a final determination won’t come until September/October of this year.
