CLUBS IN the TT Pro League are likely to be in immediate financial trouble as there is the possibility that the monthly subventions from the Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SPORTT) will be reduced.
The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) promised to satisfy its debt to the men’s senior national players as “soon as it was practicable” but stopped short of giving a deadline for a resolution.
Trinidad and Tobago Soca Warriors have withdrawn their services for their next international match against Haiti. The team was carded to participate in the Copa América Centenario Berth match, scheduled for January 8, at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, Panama.
