Residents of Morvant will for the first time witness top flight football in their community when home side Morvant Caledonia United host crosstown rivals San Juan Jabloteh in the Digicel Pro League on Sunday from 4 p.m. at the Morvant Recreation Ground, on Park Street.

Altidore scored twice in a three-minute span of the second half, Sacha Kljestan and Paul Arriola had goals and the United States beat Trinidad and Tobago 4-0 on Tuesday night to reach the final round of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.

Trinidad and Tobago Under 17 coach Russell Latapy is urging his players to hold their heads high despite having failed to qualify for the CONCACAF Final Round of qualification for the FIFA Under 17 Men's World Cup in 2017.

Speaking to TTFA Media yesterday, Latapy congratulated the five teams from the Caribbean Football Union which have qualified for the final round and also thanked his charges for their efforts during the competition. Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, Curacao and fifth place finishers Suriname all advanced to the CONCACAF Finals in Panama City next year.

Trinidad and Tobago begin the final phase of qualifying for a spot in the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup with three home matches against Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico in their first four outings.

T&T Soca Warriors will commence the final round of 2018 World Cup Concacaf Final Round Qualifiers at home to Costa Rica on November 11 at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo.
